I'm terrified of buying a horse.
I know I can take care of it properly, I’m not worried about that. I’m scared I won’t be good enough for it. I mean, I need something with experience in jumping so that I can improve and compete, but I’m worried that I won’t have the confidence and I’ll be wasting all the talent.
Tumblr right now is like my fridge.
I keep coming back, but there’s never something new.

Nothing planned for my 16th birthday, isn't that...
But anyway, pretty much begged my family for money, despite there being loads of things I kind of need. Who cares about that though. Gonna save up the money so that, if all goes well with exams and I get a horse, I’ll be able to put money towards it and new tack/rugs etc. if needed. It wouldn’t be fair to expect my parents to buy those too.

Don’t call your horse your best friend if you are willing to sell it for a different horse to get you places in shows. Friends don’t sell friends. The only time I find it acceptable to call your horse your best friend and sell it is when you can no longer take care of it for financial reasons, or your parents force you to. Those you cannot help.
